I completely agree and support the action you're taking. You won't be losing any interest from potential future investors, I'll keep an eye out for your next bond.

I very much doubt it.

Judging by his recent reply to scheduling statements he made, (statements, not promises....gasp, statements) always add a month to whatever has been 'stated'.

If by your own self admission you claim to be one of the worst candidates for public interaction outside of simply posting what the BoD wants you to post, why hasn't there been anyone else stepping up, even if temporarily, to fill the position? You expect people to take you seriously but you revert to a "sarcasm as a shield" defense anytime someone persists on a subject you don't feel like answering? If you know you suck at customer service, which is exactly what the point of making announcements and Q&A is, the only one you're hurting is yourself and the entity you represent.
The ToS was thrown out the window the second someone quotes parts of it stating various guarantees the current situation you outline is completely against, and the response to it was "Thanks for pointing that out, we meant to change that". Furthermore an addendum was added to state that "At anytime this can/will change without any prior notice at anytime we see fit", and you seriously expect customers to go along blindly in the dark with NO guarantees, or with what guarantees you do give them, knowing they could change at a moments notice without any warning, logical reasoning, or even some type of vote/influence? I mention influence mainly now because of what Raw brings up about how Ebank is responsible for soaking up their own judgements on loans versus "debtors are only hurting our customers" outlook. This must be part of the operation terms that were changed without any prior notice. If the judgements of Ebank employees are going to affect Ebank customers, allow them to vote.
After all of this and many many other things I didn't even need to mention (lolapi), it's not really hard to see the only thing you are accomplishing is a guarantee no one would give you anymore then .01 isk. I expect any response to this (if any, let's be honest) will likely be the defensive, sarcastic one....take it how you will, but I'm actually making an attempt to show the deaf man in the dark room the light switch.
And as an aside, no measure of asskissing would ever convince me to send a single isk to Ebank after seeing how you (Ebank for vouching for you as a CS rep after admittedly being rude/harsh, and your own personal responses to customers) have attempted to handle this.

The simplest solution would be 50% of normal interest. You don't want to pay interest at all to expedite recovery, customers expect full interest (as per your original agreement with them), I think all parties would agree on a middle ground.

Where do you believe this interest payment should be coming from? The vocal minority apparently believes not investment dividends LOL.
As Raw mentioned, it'd be part of a phased plan. Until you enter phase 2-3-whatever, interest can't be withdrawn from an account. There should be a stated goal (complete solvency?) when interest could be made available to customers and they also begin to earn their full 100% again.
You asked for a reasonable solution, it's really not necessary to insert sarcasm into every post/reply.
